February 14th is coming, and that means curling up with a loved one to watch a group of miners and their girlfriends get pickaxed to bits by a crazed killer in retaliation for an incident that happened on Valentine’s Day 20 years ago. Or at least, that’s how WE celebrate the holiday. How about you?
Only found on Hulu as part of Blumhouse’s “Into the Dark” full-length feature series, “Pilgrim” is a goofy yet disturbing tale of what happens to a family that is not so thankful for what it has – and somewhat-improbably based on a true story. Does this movie have an anti-abortion agenda? It sure seems like it, but it’s impossible to tell for sure. Which is only one of the reasons why it’s so maddening.
