Evilspeak

Clint Howard, Ron Howard’s less attractive younger brother, began a long career in horror movies with this “high tech” fright flick from the 80’s. It’s a male version of Carrie with a lot of dumb elements, but it was fun to laugh at.

Trick or Treat (1986)

Not to be confused with the far better film “Trick R Treat,” this heavy metal horror film may not be the best VHS tape on the shelf, but it sings with 80s charm – a throwback to a time when horror didn’t take itself so seriously. And in addition to a decent soundtrack, there are also a couple cool cameos of a young Gene Simmons and Ozzy Osborne.

Eloise

This paint-by-numbers haunted insane asylum story is far from “insanely horrifying,” but it’s not the worst film we’ve seen, by any stretch of the imagination.

Zombie Nightmare

This turkey – one of his few horror films – has to be one of the absolute best so-bad-it’s-good horror flops. Once you’re done hearing us riff on it, head over to Netflix for the MST3K episode.
